The declassified files reveal that the Government of India had snooped on all the communication received by the family members of Netaji - the Boses, for more than twenty years. The question is, if they were so certain of Bose's death in a plane crash why would they snoop on his relatives? Only if they were unsure and wanted to know if there was any communication from the leader, in order to get any clue about his location they would try to read all possible letters. The motive is not very clear but the very fact of snooping proves that there was something that the Government desperately wanted to know. Not only communication, IB also tried to get information on where did important members of the Bose family travel and whom did they meet.
